General Ledger Accountant (m/f/d)Location: RAUNHEIM, HE
Key Responsibilities:
You will work closely with the team financial functions, including monthly project cost transfer, yearly STD cost and actual cost transfer, fixed assets accounting, accrual management and other accounting content assigned. To succeed in this role, you should also have a problem-solving attitude and be able to support the team.
Check monthly project R&D direct cost, direct people cost, indirect people cost and indirect other cost, check monthly project timesheet. Proceed project cost transfer per month and per year to make sure it meets request of project control.
Fixed Assets management. FA finance booking include increase, monthly depreciation, transfer, disposal, and physical count.
Monthly and yearly accrual management
As connection support accounting and controlling when needed
Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company’s targets
Ensure compliance with the law
Requirements:At least 3 years work experience as an accountant in finance
Experience with accounting software (SAP/HFM)
Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas)
Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations
Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data
Attention to detail and accuracy
Team cooperation
Ability to prioritize work
BS degree in Accounting or Finance
Accounting certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) is a plus
Personnel Competence:Good English and German language
Strong sense of self-motivation and responsibility.
Logic thinking & problem solving, target roaching.
Self-guided, self-actuated and ability to work under time pressure to keep deadlines.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
Good communication, negotiating and persuasive skills.
